Custom Pet Portrait

A beautiful memory

I paint dogs, cats and all other animals. Our pets are our family and I love to turn your photographs into a beautiful memory for you. They make fun and meaningful gifts too!

Portrait paintings can be realistic or abstract. My pricelist is for a one color pop background but if you would like a detailed background with scenery there is an additional fee for the extra work and time involved.

To get started, I will need from you:

Your preference for the background color. More detailed scenery in the background has an additional charge.
Photos: I would need one photograph in high resolution, this being your favorite facial expression and pose to create the final portrait. Send me 2 or 3 extra sharp, clear photographs for me to see personality and unique markings. If you have limited photos because the dog is no longer with you or it's a surprise gift for somebody else, I will do my best to work with the photos you have available.
Dog Description: Your dog's name & breed/mix. Any distinguishing features to highlight, toys, collar, bed.

My art is hand painted on canvas with acrylic paints. The canvas is high-quality, stretched gallery canvas. I paint the sides too so there's no need to frame.
Paintings take from 1 to 4 weeks to complete, depending on my workload and waiting list. If you need your painting by a specific date, please let me know and I will do my best to get it to you in time.

Custom family portraits are available with all of your pets and their human parents. These are available to custom commission by message only. Shipping is available at an extra charge and depending on the size of the canvas.
I retain all legal rights to the image produced. You receive the original, but I may use the image to advertise or reproduce prints.
